The Let’s Go Kaikigumi anime will run on TBS and 27 affiliated channels in 2026. Tasuku Hatanaka voices the unnamed protagonist alongside Ruriko Aoki as Mechako and Shigeru Chiba as the narrator.

Yutaka Hirata directs the anime at C-Station, Mutsumi Ito is supervising and writing the series scripts, and Yoshimitsu Yamashita is the character designer. Uketsu, an article writer on the Omocoro web service and author The Strange House novel and manga, is working on the anime’s production. Uketsu is also credited for “song collaboration.”

Lastly, Byū serialized the manga on the Omocoro web service from 2018 to 2024. Here’s an overview of the manga series, via MangaDex

Mechako, a young girl who has lost her status and enthusiasm because she has lost sight of what “fear” is, happens to meet an uncommonly fearful man.

She decides to use this as an opportunity to regain her former glory.

The man ends up cooperating with her, and she gets involved in all sorts of yokai mayhem.
