The official Gundam website has relaunched with the franchise’s first-ever Global Gundam Poll, which is open to all fans worldwide. Supported in 10 different languages, the poll lets players vote for their favorite Gundam-type mobile suits from the long-running Mobile Suit Gundam series until December 25 at 11:59 p.m. JST / 9:59 a.m. EST.
The Global Gundam Poll includes 233 Gundam units from 34 different Gundam TV series, OVAs, and films. There are also variants and upgrades of some Gundams as individual entries, such as the Strike Gundam and Unicorn Gundam. Results of the poll will be announced in spring 2026.
During New York Comic Con 2025, Bandai Namco Filmworks announced the theatrical release of Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway The Sorcery of Nymph Circe has been delayed to January 30, 2026. Originally planned to open in Japan by the end of 2025, Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway The Sorcery of Nymph Circe will play across 365 theaters in Japan, with North American screenings to follow.
The main cast and a majority of the first film’s staff return alongside new names. Yuichi Kuboki joins Takako Suzuki as color key artists. Yoshinori Sayama is credited for display designs, Yoshihisa Ōyama is the new compositing director of photography, and Manabu Kamitōno directs the visual effects.
The Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans Urðr Hunt -Path of the little Challenger- compilation film premiers on October 31 in Japan. The release will include a new short film titled Makuai no Kusabi. The project reunites key staff members from the original series, including director Tatsuyuki Nagai and the main cast members of Mobile Suit Gundam Iron‐Blooded Orphans Urðr‐Hunt such as Rina Ikoma.
