Netflix has announced that new episodes of the Zou Arc of One Piece are available now on the streaming service. Additionally, October will also feature the debut of Ranma 1/2 season 2 and new episodes of Umamusume: Cinderella Gray.

Recently, the official X (formerly Twitter) account for author Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece staff confirmed that the manga is taking a 1-week hiatus from Weekly Shonen Jump due to health issues that Odais currently facing. Originally One Piece manga chapter 1162 would’ve released in 2025’s 45th issue of Weekly Shonen Jump. It will now release in the 46th issue on October 14 in Japan.
The One Piece anime is airing on an evening timeslot, with new episodes premiering at 11:15 p.m. JST on Saturdays on Fuji TV and affiliate channels. Crunchyroll is streaming the long-running anime series in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and Latin America.
This past August, the ONE PIECE DAY ’25 event brought major announcements. This includes an anime adaptation of Jun Esaka and Sayaka Suwa’s One Piece: Heroines light novel series. One Piece Magazine started serializing the One Piece: Heroines series issues in 2019. Shueisha publishes the novel series in Japan. Additionally, VIZ Media publishes the series in English outside Japan.
In addition, a new “First Look” trailer for One Piece Season 2 was released by Netflix. One Piece Season 2 will premiere in 2026 on Netflix. The season includes the debut of Mikaela Hoover as Straw Hat pirate Tony Tony Chopper. One Piece Season 3 is also being planned on Netflix.
