Toei Animation revealed a new trailer and key visual for the second Girls Band Cry compilation film, titled Girls Band Cry: Naa, Mirai. (Hey, Future.). The trailer also reveals and previews the theme song “Arrow” by TOGENASHI TOGEARI ahead of the film’s premiere on November 14.
What’s more, MoviTicke cards for the 2nd Girls Band Cry compilation film are available in Japan for 1,800 yen (tax included). An acrylic stand featuring the key visual is included as a bonus.
Returning cast members for the Girls Band Cry compilation film include:

- Yuri as Momoka Kawaragi
- Mirei as Subaru Awa
- Natsu as Tomo Ebizuka
- Syuri as Rupa
Kazuo Sakai directs the compilation movies at Toei Animation, with Jukki Hanada handling series compositions. What’s more, Nari Teshima is the character designer, and Daiki Nakazawa and Jae Hoon Jung are the CGI directors. Kenji Tamai was the composer, and Yūsuke Tanaka was credited for the background music.
During Tokyo Game Show 2025, Toei Animation and developer Donuts revealed Girls Band Cry First Riff, a brand-new Girls Band Cry game adaptation. What’s more, a new Girls Band Cry anime movie is currently in the works.
Girls Band Cry premiered on April 5, 2024 in Japan. The English release followed up in August 2024 digitally in North America, and Crunchyroll is streaming all 13 episodes of the anime.
The new Girls Band Cry 2D platforming game Momoka (o) Wasshoi (Momoka Heave-Ho) launches on September 28 for PC via Steam. The new Girls Band Cry game may be purchased in any region when it launches, but the game does not support English.
