Bandai Namco and Media.Vision announced a collaboration between Digimon Story Time Stranger and The Idolmaster to celebrate the 20th anniversary of The Idolmaster series. A collaboration T-shirt featuring a new illustration of The Idolmaster character Haruka Amami will be available in Digimon Story Time Stranger.
Digimon Story Time Stranger launches October 3 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam with Japanese and English voice overs. A free demo of Digimon Story Time Stranger is available now on all platforms featuring the opening sequence and save data transfers to the full game.
Pre-orders are now available in the PlayStation Store, and various editions will be sold:
- Standard Edition ($69.99): Base Game, Uniform of Certain School costumes, Adventure Item set, Agumon (Black) and Gabumon (Black)
- Digital Deluxe Edition ($99.99): Standard Edition content, Season Pass and Cyber Sleuth Set Costumes
- Digital Ultimate Edition ($119.99): All Digital Deluxe edition content, Costume Pack (3 costumes per character, 3 additional side missions), early unlocks of special Agumon and Gabumon, with their Digivolution conditions to specific Digimon already unlocked, Public Safety Suit Costumes and Special Supplies Set, Cyber Sleuth BGM Pack
- Collector’s Edition ($199.99, Bandai Namco Store Exclusive): All Ultimate Edition content plus a physical artbook, Digimon Card Game set, and an intricate Jupitermon: Wrath Mode statuette.
In addition, Bandai Namco revealed its lineup of games for New York Comic-Con 2025, which runs from October 9 to 12 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. Various games will be exhibited, including Digimon Story: Time Stranger, Once Upon A KATAMARI, Little Nightmares III, CODE VEIN II, and My Hero Academia: All’s Justice, at Bandai Namco booth #2319.
