Gran Turismo 7 Update 1.62 Adds AFEELA 1 and Corvette Concept Cars

Sony Interactive Entertainment and Polyphony Digital announced Gran Turismo 7 update 1.62 will launch on August 28 with four new cars, including the AFEELA 1 ’26, Chevrolet Corvette CX Concept ’25, Chevrolet Corvette CX.R Vision Gran Turismo Concept, and Renault Avantime 3.0 V6 24V ’02. 

Gran Turismo 7 update 1.62 also adds [Extra Menu No. 47] Collection: Japanese Racing Pioneers for players at Collector Level 33 and above. Three new World Circuit events join the list as well, including European Sunday Cup 400 (Circuit de Sainte-Croix – B Reverse), Japanese 4WD Challenge 600 (Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta), and World Touring Car 900 (Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps). What’s more, Tokyo Bay will be a featured Curation in Scapes.

Microsoft’s Forza Horizon 5 is available now for PlayStation 5, giving Gran Turismo fans another game to try out. Moreover, it has cross-play with the existing Xbox Series X|S and PC versions, and it supports the new Gioteck FR5 Racing Wheel. Final Weapon reviewed the PS5 version of Forza Horizon 5, giving it a 4.5 out of 5 score. 

Lastly, Gran Turismo 7 will continue to receive major updates on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Previously, Polyphony Digital released the game’s free demo, My First GT, on December 6, 2024. Players may complete the demo to earn bonuses in Gran Turismo 7.
