Crunchyroll announced a partnership with Delta to offer “specially curated” anime later this year on seatback screens. Crunchyroll also teased that 2,000 titles and 50,000 episodes will be available on Delta flights in the future, and more details are coming soon.
Additionally, Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment announced Crunchyroll Anime Nights, a new monthly theatrical program that celebrates anime, including past and new releases. At select theaters, fans can expect anime to hit the big screen every third Monday of the month, including films, episodes and exclusive previews from Crunchyroll.
Crunchyroll Anime Nights launches in October 2025 across over 225 theaters in the U.S., including Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, AMC Theatres, Regal, Cinemark Theatres, Harkins Theatres, and Landmark Cinemas chains. On October 20, fans can catch Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid: A lonely dragon wants to be loved in theaters as part of Crunchyroll Anime Nights, followed by an OVERLORD 10th anniversary celebration.
What’s more, there’s a special Crunchyroll Summer Sale through August 27 with exclusive discounts for select anime and manga products. Along with sales, Crunchyroll Mega and Ultimate Fan members can fully enjoy mobile titles without distractions, such as ads or in-app purchases. Games that are available on the service include Ys I & II Chronicles and Classroom of the Elite – Merge Puzzle Special Exam –, to name a few. This is in addition to Crunchyroll’s vast streaming library of anime with popular series like SPY x FAMILY, Jujutsu Kaisen, Attack on Titan, and One Piece.
