Tribute Games has announced that a panel dedicated to Scott Pilgrim EX will be held at San Diego Comic-Con 2025, which will feature new details and an exclusive gameplay reveal. There will also be a live performance from Anamanaguchi.
The panel will feature a new look at the story of Scott Pilgrim EX. There will also be an “exclusive” look for attendees. The panelists include:
- Bryan Lee O’Malley (creator of Scott Pilgrim, creative consultant on Scott Pilgrim EX)
- Jean-Francois Major (president, Tribute Games)
- Yannick Belzil (narrative designer, Tribute Games)
- Josh Fairhurst (chief executive officer, Limited Run Games)
- John Melchior (executive producer, Universal Products & Experiences)
- And moderator Griffin Newman (Blank Check podcast)
The panel will take place on July 26 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM PDT. On July 24, a live rock show featuring Anamanaguchi will take place at the Voodoo Room at the House of Blues.
Scott Pilgrim EX will release in 2026 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. The Steam page describes it below:
Scott Pilgrim EX is an action-adventure game where players can fight as Scott Pilgrim, Ramona Flowers and more as they battle through the fractured time and space of Toronto. The combat gameplay is driven by instinct and improvisation – a hectic ballet of fists and flair that rewards strategy, spontaneity, and a good bit of brawling chaos. String together stylish combos, experiment with wacky weapons and unleash over-the-top special attacks.
Characters can be upgraded with special badges that enhance their stats and grant special bonuses. Players will explore a whole city of interconnected levels to meet old and new faces, complete quests, and discover hidden areas. Multiplayer co-op, local or online, lets up to four players join in on the action, making it a fun, dynamic experience.
