Toei Animation released a new trailer and key visual for the first new Girls Band Cry compilation film, which is titled Girls Band Cry: Rhapsody of Youth. The Girls Band Cry: Rhapsody of Youth compilation film will premiere on October 3, followed by Girls Band Cry: Hey, Future. on November 14.
Returning cast members for the Girls Band Cry compilation movies include:

Kazuo Sakai returns to direct the compilation movies at Toei Animation, with Jukki Hanada handling series compositions. What’s more, Nari Teshima is the character designer, and Daiki Nakazawa and Jae Hoon Jung are the CGI directors. Kenji Tamai was the composer, and Yūsuke Tanaka was credited for the background music.
The Girls Band Cry anime premiered on April 5, 2024 in Japan. The English release followed up on August 13 digitally in North America, and Crunchyroll started to stream all 13 episodes of the anime on November 6, 2024. Moreover, a new Girls Band Cry mobile game adaptation for Android and iOS. Development is currently underway with no confirmed release date.
