Earlier today, the official website for the upcoming anime adaptation of Jun Mayuzuki’s Kowloon Generic Romance manga unveiled a new teaser. The teaser revealed the opening theme song for the anime, its April 5 premiere, and a new key visual.

Previously announced cast members include
- Taito Ban as Tao Gwen
- Ryōtarō Okiayu as Miyuki Hebinuma
- Aoi Koga as Yaomay
- Sayumi Suzushiro as Xiaohei
The newly added cast members are Haruka Shiraishi, who stars as Reiko Kujirai, and Tomokazu Sugita, who plays Hajime Kudō. Additionally, Wednesday Campanella performs the opening song “Summertime Ghost,” while singer-songwriter Mekakushe performs the ending “Koi no Retronym.”
Yoshiaki Iwasaki is directing the anime at Arvo Animation. Jin Tanaka is writing the script, Yuka Shibata is designing the characters, and Yūji Kaneko is the art director.
Yen Press currently publishes the manga in English, and the first volume is available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Books-A-Million, Indigo, Kinokuniya, and Crunchyroll Store. Nine volumes have been released thus far in English.
