Bandai Namco has announced Gundam Extreme Vs. 2 Infinite Boost, a new game coming to arcades in Japan. They will hold location tests in Chiba and Osaka on March 8 and 9. The game will release later this year.

The upcoming game will commemorate the fifteenth anniversary of the Gundam Extreme Vs. anniversary. It is unknown if Infinite Boost will release on consoles. The most recent game in the franchise, MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM EXTREME VS. MAXIBOOST ON, is available now on PlayStation 5. The PlayStation Store describes it as follows:
MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM EXTREME VS. MAXIBOOST ON is a port of the 2016 arcade version of Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme VS. Maxiboost. It is 2-on-2 team battle action game where you control mobile suits from many Gundam titles!
All 183 suits from 36 titles in the arcade version are playable, plus 2 extra suits that have never appeared in the arcade version before!
Recently, Bandai Namco Filmworks announced that they’ve officially started production of the Gundam live-action film. They will produce the film alongside Legendary, the film company known for Pacific Rim, Dune, and Godzilla. Jim Mickle (Sweet Tooth) will direct the film.
Bandai Namco initially announced the Gundam film in 2018. Originally, Jordan Vogt-Roberts (Kong: Skull Island) was attached to direct the film. It is currently unknown why he is no longer directing the film. Moreover, Bandai Namco announced the establishment of Bandai Namco Filmworks America to help produce the film and co-finance it.
Lastly, Gundam Extreme Vs. 2 Infinite Boost will release on arcades in 2025.
