Capcom announced that Monster Hunter Wilds open beta test 2 will be held in February with crossplay for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Players who participate will earn the Stuffed Felyne Teddy pendant and OBT 2 Bonus Item Pack as a free bonus in the full game.
Monster Hunter Wilds open beta test 2 will be held in two sessions from Thursday, February 6 at 7:00 p.m. to Sunday, February 9 at 6:59 p.m. PST and Thursday, February 13 at 7:00 p.m. to Sunday, February 16 at 6:59 p.m. PST. It is free to all players, and PlayStation Plus and Xbox Game Pass Core or Ultimate is not required to play online.
In addition to content from the first Monster Hunter Wilds open beta test, players may now hunt down Gypceros. Accessible content in the beta test includes character creation, a Story Trial, and the Doshaguma Hunt. What’s more, the Story Trial and Doshaguma Hunt may be completed solo or with others via SOS flare.
Created characters from the first beta test may also be transferred to the second beta test and into the full game, but progress isn’t carried over. Moreover, those who participate in the open beta test will also receive a special bonus pendant or Seikret mount and an additional item pack in the full game.
