The staff for the Shangri-La Frontier anime has released a new promo for season 2, showcasing the theme songs for the season’s second part. Awich will perform the OP, “Frontiers.” CVLTE will perform the new ending theme, “realitYhurts.”

Shangri-La Frontier Season 2 premiered on October 13, and Crunchyroll is streaming the series outside of Japan. LiSA performed the original Shangri-La Frontier Season 2 opening theme song “QUEEN,” and otoha performed the ending theme song “Dancer in the Dark Night.” The second part of Shangri-La Frontier season 2 will continue on January 5.
A total of 25 episodes for the first season of the Shangri-La Frontier anime series aired in two cours from October 2023 to March 2024. 13 episodes aired in the first cour, followed by 12 episodes in the second cour.
Katarina began the Shangri-La Frontier web novel series on the “Let’s Be Novelists” website in May 2017. Three years later, the manga adaptation by Ryosuke Fuji began in Weekly Shonen Magazine in July 2020. The anime premiered on October 1, 2023 as a two-cour series.
