Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown producer Manabu Shimomoto teased new projects and the franchise’s 30th anniversary plans in the Famitsu year-end feature. According to Shimomoto, the team is hard at work on the next game in the series, along with new projects.

Ambitions: “We are working hard on the latest Ace Combat title, so we hope fans will wait a little longer. We are also working on new projects!”
Current Situation: “The year 2025 will mark the 30th anniversary of the Ace Combat series, so we look forward to sharing further information about it with fans.”
Bandai Namco previously released Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown Deluxe Edition on Nintendo Switch on July 11, 2024. The Nintendo Switch version features the base game and six DLC packs, alongside additional bonuses and support for up to eight players in multiplayer. The game is also available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam worldwide.
