Tales of series producer Yusuke Tomizawa teased plans for the franchise’s “two-year-long” 30th anniversary project in the Famitsu year-end feature. Fans of the series will likely learn more about these plans after the release of Tales of Graces f Remastered.
Final Weapon staff writer Ryuji translated Tomizawa’s comments on the current state of the Tales of franchise below:
Current Situation: “The latest remaster of the Tales of series, Tales of Graces f Remastered, is set to release next year. We also have more planned for the two-year-long 30th anniversary project.”
Previously, Tomizawa confirmed that Bandai Namco plans to remaster Tales of games “fairly consistently,” and that the company has a dedicated development line for remastered projects. If any more remasters are part of the 30th anniversary project, then we can expect to see announcements in 2025 and 2026.
Tales of Graces f Remastered will launch on January 17, 2025 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. The remastered version will include enhanced visuals and gameplay, the ability to switch encounters off, 80 previously released DLC, and more. All versions of the game will run at 60 FPS with the exception of the Nintendo Switch version.
Lastly, here’s an overview of the game from Bandai Namco:
