During the Tales of Series 30th Anniversary Broadcast, series producer Yusuke Tomizawa confirmed that Bandai Namco plans to remaster Tales of games “fairly consistently.” This bodes well for the series, as many fans have been clamoring for the franchise to be more accessible on modern platforms for years.
According to Tomizawa, Bandai Namco intends to continue releasing Tales of remasters as much as possible. A dedicated development line for the “Remastered Project” was established as well. No specific release plans for the next remaster were revealed yet, since Tales of Graces f Remastered is releasing soon. At the very least, Bandai Namco has a structure for development of these remasters.
Tales of Graces f Remastered will launch on January 17, 2025 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. The remastered version will include enhanced visuals and gameplay, the ability to switch encounters off, 80 previously released DLC, and more. All versions of the game will run at 60 FPS with the exception of the Nintendo Switch version.
Lastly, here’s an overview of the game from Bandai Namco:
In Tales of Graces f Remastered, players will follow the adventures of Asbel and his friends as they embark on a world-spanning quest filled with unforgettable characters, shocking revelations, and unique companions brought together through promises made across time.
