Toei Animation announced that the Dragon Ball Daima anime will be taking a short one-week break, with no episode airing at the usual timeslot on January 3, 2025.
After the break, the Dragon Ball Daima anime will continue with episode 13 on January 10. This is due to the holidays and New Year festivities in Japan, lasting from January 1 to January 3.

Dragon Ball Daima episode 13 is titled “Surprise” and it will be streaming first with English subs on January 10. That same day, Crunchyroll will begin streaming the English dub for the Dragon Ball Daima anime at 1:30 p.m. PST / 4:30 p.m. EST on the streaming platform. The English dub will be available to view in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.
The Dragon Ball Daima anime premiered on October 11 on Crunchyroll with English subs in North America, Central America, South America, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia. The first episode came to Netflix globally on October 18, along with the release of the second episode.
Dragon Ball Daima’s opening theme song is “Jaka Jaan” by Zedd featuring C&K. Yukinojo Mori composed the song’s lyrics. Ai performs the Dragon Ball Daima ending theme song “NAKAMA,” which is composed and produced by Zedd.
During the Jump Festa 2025 stage, manga author Toyotarou confirmed that a new Dragon Ball Super one-shot manga will be released with the April 2025 issue of V-Jump. This issue is planned to release on February 20, 2025, a month after the return of the Dragon Ball Daima anime.
