During the Dragon Ball Super Jump Festa 2025 stage, manga author Toyotarou confirmed that a new Dragon Ball Super one-shot manga will be released with the April 2025 issue of V-Jump. This issue is planned to release on February 20, 2025.
The new Dragon Ball Super one-shot manga chapter appears to focus on Goten and Trunks, as spotted by @vikkiy0704 and @DBSHype on Twitter/X. New details will likely be revealed within the next month or so.
Dragon Ball Super chapter 103, the manga’s latest chapter, was released back in March 2024. The manga went on hiatus following the death of Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama. Toyotarou likely took time to mourn Toriyama’s passing, and some restructuring likely took place in order for the manga to continue without him.
While the manga is still on a break, fans can watch the ongoing Dragon Ball Daima series, which is the last anime that Toriyama was involved in before his passing. Goku, Vegeta, Supreme Kai, and other iconic members of the crew head into the Demon Realm after being turned into children by Gomah, who is attempting to become the Supreme Demon King. New episodes release on Fridays on Crunchyroll and Netflix with English subs and dubs.
The Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO game is also available now, allowing fans to relive iconic moments from Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super. Dragon Ball Sparking! ZERO DLC 1 and DLC 2 will release in Q1 2025, focusing on playable characters from Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero and Dragon Ball Daima, respectively. DLC 3 release in Q2 2025 with more playable characters from Dragon Ball Daima.
