The Coalition has launched a new “November 6” patch for Gears of War: E-Day, alongside confirming that Conqueror Uzil RAAM will be a free playable character. RAAM will release on November 7, and will only be accessible via multiplayer.
The patch notes for the new update are as follows:
We’ve deployed a tuning update to select weapons based off feedback, gameplay telemetry and testing. Since Gears of War: E-Day has a unified sandbox across Campaign, PVE and PVP modes, it’s important to us to collect and review gameplay data from across the entire game before making changes. Thanks for your patience.
We’ve made changes to the following weapons in PvP:
Overall power reduced for the Striga:
-
- Headshots now cause DBNO instead of death
- The gib range has reduced from 10m to 3.5m
- Reduced lethal damage range to 14m
Overall power reduced for the Lancer Mk1 (Retro)
-
- Reduced Active Reload damage bonus from 15% to 10%
- Short-range falloff now ends at 1200 from 1400
- Medium-range falloff now ends at 2200 from 3000
- Maximum damage falloff is reached at 4000 from 6000
Gut-Puncher
-
- Reduced Active Reload damage multiplier to 1.25x from 1.5x
We are actively working on changes to the Mantle kick and continue to measure data across all modes and weapons for future tuning updates.
