Square Enix’s Team Asano lead and Bravely Default series producer Tomoya Asano teased that multiple reveals are on the way in 2025, according to the year-end feature from Famitsu. These projects should “finally come to light soon,” as it was previously teased that fans would know about some developments in the Bravely series in 2024.

Previously, Asano shared a message thanking fans during the third anniversary of Bravely Default II. He also teased that news about “some developments” for the Bravely series would be made in 2024. It appears that Asano’s initial plans to reveal what he’s been working on was pushed to 2025, but fans should be able to learn about what these projects by Square Enix are soon enough.
In 2025, Dark Horse Comics will localize The Art of Bravely Default II: 201X-2021 and release it on April 22, 2025. The book features 300 pages of character design documents, environmental artwork, and marketing materials. It will also feature developer commentary, published for the first time in English.
One of Team Asano’s latest releases was Triangle Strategy for Meta Quest 2 and Meta Quest 3 on October 31, 2024. Triangle Strategy first launched on March 4, 2022 for Nintendo Switch worldwide. The turn-based strategy RPG came to Steam on October 13, 2022. The game went on to sell over one million copies sold worldwide across both platforms in just nine months.
