Nexon Games announced The First Descendant Season 2: Void Chaser will begin on December 5 with two new Descendants, a new dungeon, new story quests, and much more. In the season’ story, the Descendants will follow mysterious signals from the Deep Void, searching for the Iron Heart.

The new Descendants, Keelan and Ines Raya, arrive in The First Descendant Season 2 as members of the H.O.U.N.D reconnaissance unit. Keelan will be available at launch, while Ines Raya will be available with the season’s January update.

The new Void Vessel dungeon will also be available, with the formidable Dread Armor boss lying in wait. This dungeon will be available in Normal and Hard difficulties, and completing it rewards players with Keelan and a new companion named Fellow.

The new Sharen Story Quest will be available in Season 2 along with Ultimate Sharen as another addition to the Descendant roster. Ultimate Sharen can throw daggers in a 360-degree radius, and she can boost her own movement speed, reduce skill cooldowns, and reactivate stealth after enemy kills.

Descendants will face their greatest challenge yet with the new Void Abyss Intercept Battle. Disrupt the Void Reflux Mode of bosses in this battle to stop them from regenerating and enhancing themselves. Colossi-themed skins are awarded for completing this challenge, among other rewards.

The new “Hammer and Anvil” and “Voltia” Ultimate Weapons will also be available, with the latter being free from the Season 2 Battle Pass. Voltia is especially useful in Void Vessel missions.
