Spike Chunsoft and MAGES. have delayed the release of physical Standard and SteelBook Editions of STEINS;GATE RE:BOOT for Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation 5 to November 3 in the UK and EU. Although the physical releases were delayed, all digital editions of STEINS;GATE RE:BOOT are still planned to release on October 29 across North America, the UK, and EU on consoles.
As previously announced, the physical Standard and SteelBook Editions of STEINS;GATE RE:BOOT feature a new cover illustration by character designer huke. Each edition includes a sticker as a first-print-run bonus. Physical pre-orders for STEINS;GATE RE:BOOT are available at participating retailers.
STEINS;GATE RE:BOOT first launched on August 20 for PC via Steam, and the Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PlayStation 5 versions will launch on October 29. STEINS;GATE RE:BOOT is digital-only for Xbox Series X|S and PC, and all versions includes English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese language support with Japanese voice-overs.
Digital pre-orders of the STEINS;GATE RE:BOOT Standard Edition in the Nintendo eShop include the 80s PC-style adventure game STEINS;GATE Octet of Shifting Space as a free bonus. The STEINS;GATE RE:BOOT Digital Deluxe Edition is also available to pre-order now featuring the game, a digital visual book, the digital soundtrack, and footage from the “STEINS;GATE 15th LIVE – ONE WORLD -” live event, which has English subtitles.
