Spike Chunsoft and MAGES. have announced that STEINS;GATE RE:BOOT, the remake of the original STEINS;GATE visual novel, launches on August 20 for Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam, followed by the Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PlayStation 5 versions on October 29. STEINS;GATE RE:BOOT will be digital-only for Xbox Series X|S and PC, and all versions will feature English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese language support with Japanese voice-overs.
Spike Chunsoft will publish physical Standard and SteelBook Editions of STEINS;GATE RE:BOOT for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PlayStation 5. These editions will feature a new cover illustration by character designer huke, and each edition includes a sticker as a first-print-run bonus. Pre-orders for STEINS;GATE RE:BOOT are now open at participating retailers.
