SHIFT UP’s latest financial results confirm that Stellar Blade is coming to PC via Steam and Epic Games Store in 2025. The studio is also reportedly planning to open a location in Los Angeles, California as well.
Stellar Blade on PC will introduce a new audience of fans into the franchise, as SHIFT UP aims to continue the studio’s growth in 2025. Along with a studio location opening in LA, SHIFT UP is planning a Goddess of Victory: NIKKE anime adaptation with Netflix, according to Eurogamer. More details will be announced at a later date.
Meanwhile, the Stellar Blade x NieR: Automata DLC will release on November 20 alongside the long-awaited Photo Mode update. The collaboration brings new outfits from NieR: Automata, which are acquired from Emil’s shop. In Photo Mode, Eve and her companions may strike poses for photos, and players have camera work and various filters to choose from.
Moreover, the update brings four new costumes and a new accessory called Symbol of Legacy. This new accessory changes the appearance and presentation of Tachy Mode while equipped. Character customization for Eve has been expanded with new features, including a “No Ponytail” option.
Players will be able to pick a specific song from the turntable during camp breaks when the new update launches. Auto-target and ballistics correction features will be applied to enemy insta-kill skills, making battle more intense.
Stellar Blade launched on April 26, 2024 worldwide as a PlayStation 5 console exclusive. A Stellar Blade sequel is also planned, and SHIFT UP is working on an all-new game as well.
