Sony Interactive Entertainment and SHIFT UP announced the Stellar Blade x NieR: Automata DLC will release on November 20 alongside the long-awaited Photo Mode update. The collaboration brings new outfits from NieR: Automata, along with one fan-favorite character.
The NieR: Automata DLC brings Emil (voiced by Maii Kadowaki) and his shop into Stellar Blade, featuring 11 different collaboration items. This includes A2 and 2B costumes, along with other items, according to PlayStation Blog.
Along with the collaboration DLC, players may capture moments in Stellar Blade with the new Photo Mode update. In Photo Mode, Eve and her companions may strike poses for photos, and players have camera work and various filters to choose from.
Moreover, the update brings four new costumes and a new accessory called Symbol of Legacy. This new accessory changes the appearance and presentation of Tachy Mode while equipped. Character customization for Eve has been expanded with new features, including a “No Ponytail” option.
Players will be able to pick a specific song from the turntable during camp breaks when the new update launches. Auto-target and ballistics correction features will be applied to enemy insta-kill skills, making battle more intense. Lastly, the update brings lip-sync support for French, Spanish, Italian, German, Portuguese, and Latin American Spanish.
Stellar Blade launched on April 26, 2024 worldwide, exclusively for PlayStation 5. A PC version is reportedly planned. A Stellar Blade sequel is also planned, and SHIFT UP is working on an all-new game as well. More updates for Stellar Blade are planned so stay tuned at Final Weapon for more details.
