Indie.io has announced that G.I. Joe: Wrath of Cobra will release for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on November 21. The game is currently available on PC via Steam.
The beat-em-up has a style similar to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge. It also bears similarities to the upcoming Power Rangers beat-em-up, Rita’s Rewind. It’s available for $24.99.

G.I. Joe: Wrath of Cobra offers nostalgic action revamped for the modern era, with smooth gameplay and high replayability, all imbued in an easy-to-play, fun-to-master experience. Players can choose their favorite G.I. JOE heroes, including Duke, Scarlett, Snake Eyes, Gung-ho, and Roadblock. Fight Cobra’s mightiest villains such as Cobra Commander, Storm Shadow, Destro, Zartan, and Baroness across land, air, sea, and space while visiting iconic locations like Cobra Island, the Pit, and Cobra’s top-secret underwater base.
Played solo, or couch co-op with up to four friends, G.I. Joe: Wrath of Cobra offers players an arsenal of weapons, combo options, and special abilities to choose from as they battle through Arcade or Story mode. Offering pixel-perfect hand-drawn art and classic-style cutscenes, players fight alongside an arcade-inspired soundtrack from legendary composer Tee Lopes (Sonic Mania, TMNT Shredder’s Revenge, Streets of Rage 4 – Mr. X Nightmare DLC), and from Crush 40’s lead vocalist Johnny Gioeli (Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020).
Lastly, G.I. Joe: Wrath of Cobra will release for consoles on November 21, 2024.
