HoYoverse announced Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.6 “Annals of Pinecany’s Mappou Age” will launch on October 23. The update takes players to Penacony’s Paperfold Universary as its new semester and anniversary celebrations are around the corner.
In Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.6, the Trailblaze Continuance mission “Banana Outrage: Battles Without Ninja and Humanity” will let players enroll as an auditing student at Paperfold University. With classmates like March 7th and Dan Heng, players will thrive in a scholastic adventure and cultivate meaningful relationships, according to HoYoverse. While there, players will meet a new 5-star ninja, Rappa.
Rappa knows the art of ninjutsu and follows the Way of the Ninja by using ninja scrolls that blend rap, graffiti, and comic elements. She’s also a Galaxy Ranger on the hunt for Evil Ninja Osaru. Her Ultimate allows her to enter Sealform and unleash Ningu: Demonbane Petalblade in first-person view, making her unlike any character in the game currently. She deals great damage and can reduce the Toughness of enemies without Imaginary Weakness.
A new Sound Hunt Ninjutsu Inscription event will be available in Version 2.6, allowing players to team up with Rappa and become the band manager for the Dreamlight Anniversary music party. During that time, Dan Heng • Imbibitor Lunae, Acheron, and
Aventurine will make their return to the first and second phases of Version 2.6 Warp Event.
Version 2.6 also introduces the third Simulated Universe DLC, following Swarm Disaster and Gold and Gears. The Unknowable Domain surfaces and simulates the Scholars’
Strife, a post-Second Emperor’s War event where scholarly factions vie for control of
Emperor Rubert II’s Scepter system.
