The Pokémon Company announced that a free update for Pokémon Sleep has added support for the Pokémon GO Plus + device. A new trailer reveals the Pokemon that fans can obtain by linking the device to the game as well.
The “Awake or Asleep, You’ve Got Pikachu by Your Side!” concept video for Pokémon Sleep confirms that players can meet a nightcap-wearing Pikachu in-game by pairing the app with a Pokémon GO Plus + device. This unique Pikachu can enhance the player’s experience by filling a sixth slot in the helper team. It also sings lullabies when tracking sleep data and grants various unique audio options to wake players up.
Pairing Pokémon Sleep with a Pokémon GO Plus + device grants additional rewards as well. The friendship level cap for nightcap-wearing Pikachu will rise from 18 to 20, and Honey will be added to the third level of materials it can gather. A profile icon for nightcap-wearing Pikachu will be added to the app. In addition, achievement rewards of up to 500 diamonds will be added, based on the total sleep time tracked with the Pokémon GO Plus + device.

It’s work noting that the Pokémon GO Plus + device does not work on Nintendo Switch. As a result, it cannot be used with mainline Pokémon titles like Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
Lastly, Pokémon Sleep is available now on iOS and Android.
