During a media event at Bilibili World 2024, Perfect World Games revealed that the studio is considering a console release of Persona 5: The Phantom X. PC and mobile platforms are the main platforms for the game, but Perfect World Games will try its best to release console versions of Persona 5: The Phantom X after the global release (Thanks, @ScrambledFaz).
Perfect World Games also wants Persona 5: The Phantom X to host collaborations with other Persona titles. These games include Persona 5 Royal, Persona 4 Golden, and Persona 3 Reload. Currently, the game has only collaborated with the original Persona 5 so far, as of the Version 2.0 release.
With over 10 million pre-registrations in China, Persona 5: The Phantom X generated a lot of excitement from gamers in the region. The Persona 5: The Phantom X open beta launched April 12 to Android, iOS, and PC (Windows) in China, alongside the original soundtrack release. Just one week later on April 18, the open beta launched in South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau.
Volume 1 of Persona 5: The Phantom X’s original soundtrack launched on April 12 with 21 tracks, including the opening theme song “Ambitions and Visions” by Lyn Inaizumi. The opening movie version of the song is just under two minutes long, whereas the full version is three minutes and 26 seconds long. Both versions were composed by ATLUS’s Ryota Kozuka (Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance).
