SEGA and Sonic the Hedgehog are teaming up with Bahama Buck’s for two new shaved ice offerings across 115 shops in the US. These new offerings are available starting today, May 3, for a limited time
SEGA recently its Fearless: Year of Shadow campaign, which promotes various Sonic the Hedgehog-themed goods and the release of Sonic x Shadow: Generations. Various limited-time events will be held as well, including the collaboration between Sonic the Hedgehog and IHOP. Fans can also celebrate Sonic through the new Razer and Sneki Snek collaboration and Bahama Buck’s new offerings.
Bahama Buck’s Offers Sonic the Hedgehog Treats
Bahama Buck’s 115 shops across the US will now have the Sonic Sno and Shadow Sno menu items for a limited time. The Sonic Sno delivers a tangy raspberry flavor with Sour Patch sauce. The Shadow Snow brings a tropical cherry flavor topped with Tropic Creme and Oreo cookie pieces.
Each Sonic and Shadow Sno includes a unique character pick and a surprise character spoon, featuring one of five beloved characters from Sonic the Hedgehog. Additionally, Flavor Fans can upgrade to a limited-edition Collector’s Cup depicting Sonic and Shadow alongside iconic Bahama Buck’s elements.
“Through our partnership with Bahama Bucks, we’re hoping everyone will be able to cool off this summer with Sonic and Friends,” said Kristen Zimmer, Associate Director of Partnerships and Lifestyle Programs at Sega of America. “Working with Bahama Bucks has allowed us to continue bringing Sonic to new heights and offers fans a new way to experience their favorite hedgehog.”
During the January 31 State of Play, SEGA announced Sonic x Shadow Generations, a remaster of Sonic Generations with new content starring Shadow the Hedgehog. The remaster is coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC this fall.
Through May 5, SEGA and IHOP are teaming up to offer a new Sonic the Hedgehog menu at participating restaurants. An exclusive Sonic Superstars DLC outfit for Amy up for grabs during this limited-time promotion. In addition, limited-edition Sonic the Hedgehog gift cards are available.
In other Sonic news, Keanu Reeves has been cast as Shadow in Sonic the Hedgehog 3. The upcoming movie is set to be released on December 20, 2024 in theaters around the world.
