River City Girls 2 will have classic Double Dragon characters, Billy and Jimmy Lee, arriving in an upcoming DLC. WayForward states that they expect to release the DLC this summer, so stay tuned.
Additionally, a free update will come alongside the DLC. This free update includes a Double Dragon motion comic, two new shops, and new accessories. WayForward mentions that even more content is planned for this free update, but they will be revealed closer to the DLC’s release.
River City Girls 2 x Double Dragon DLC
Fans of River City Girls 2 have been requesting Billy and Jimmy Lee since the game’s release. They both have distinctive gameplay and keep their trademark moves such as Spinning Cyclone Kick and Rising Knee. Moreover, WayForward integrated both characters into River City Girls 2‘s story mode with their respective voice actors. Dan Avidan and Arin Hanson will return to voice both Jimmy and Billy. Fans invested in the soundtrack can expect to see a new vocal song performed by Hanson and Avidan composed by Megan McDuffee.
River City Girls 2 is a side-scrolling beat ’em up video game developed by WayForward. It serves as a sequel to River City Girls and continues the first game’s story. Players can control one of several characters, each with unique moves and abilities. The game can be played solo or cooperatively as you navigate through various levels in an urban setting.
