Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance Daily Demon Video Introduces Amanozako

Shin Megami Tensei V's signature demon returns.

SEGA and ATLUS have released a new “Daily Demon” video for Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, introducing the demon Amanozako. This demon was previously featured in the original Shin Megami Tensei V.

The April 22 Daily Demon video for Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance introduced Mad Gasser, a tall figure wearing a protective all-black suit. Mad Gasser spreads toxic fumes that induce severe headaches and vomiting. He’s rarely sighted, but it’s believed that he appears when people begin to forget of his existence.

Returning in Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, Amanozako is a Japanese goddess that is believed to be the ancestor of Tengu and Amanojaku. Amanozako was born after Susano’o spit out the ferocity that was building up inside his body. She’s capable of destroying any sharp weapon with her fangs alone when angry.
