Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance Daily Demon Video Introduces Mad Gasser

    Inspired by an urban legend.

SEGA and ATLUS have released a new “Daily Demon” video for Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, introducing the demon Mad Gasser. This demon was previously featured in Soul Hackers 2.

The April 21 Daily Demon video for Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance introduced Unicorn, a white horse in Scottish legend with a single spiral-shaped horn on its head. It’s believed that its horn can be used to cure any illness. However, Unicorn will only open its heart to fair maidens.

Returning in Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, Mad Gasser is a tall figure wearing all black in a protective suit. He spreads toxic fumes that induce severe headaches and vomiting. He’s rarely sighted, but it’s believed that he appears when people begin to forget of his existence.

ATLUS recently confirmed that Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance is Steam Deck verified. This means that the game is fully functional using the Steam Deck’s default configuration and graphics settings, and the text is legible on Steam Deck with proper icons.
