    Laid-Back Camp Season 3 Reveals New Cast Members

    Premiering on April 4.

    The official website for Laid-Back Camp Season 3 reveals two new cast members for the anime series. In addition, two new character visuals were revealed ahead of the anime’s April revealed a new trailer and key visual. 

    The Laid-Back Camp manga by Afro entered serialization in 2015, and the success of the manga prompted production of two anime seasons. In addition, Laid-Back Camp Season 3 and an anime adaptation of Afro’s mono manga are on the way, making it a busy year for fans.

    The latest update confirms that Maria Sashide and Kokoa Amano will play the roles of Ema Mizunami and Mei Nakatsugawa respectively in Laid-Back Camp Season 3. Check out their respective character visuals below:

    8-Bit is producing the animation for Laid-Back Camp Season 3, which premieres on April 4 across on Japanese TV networks, including AT-X, Tokyo MX, and BS11. Crunchyroll will stream the series as it airs in Japan. Kiminone performs the opening theme song “Laid-Back Journey” for the third season. Asaka performs the ending theme song “So Precious.” 

    Shin Tosaka is the director of the anime, and Masafumi Sugiura will handle series composition. Hisanori Hashimoto serves as the character designer, Akiyuki Tateyama is the composer, and Takeshi Takadera is the sound director. 

    The first two seasons of Laid-Back Camp and the Laid-Back Camp movie are available now to stream on Crunchyroll. Crunchyroll has not confirmed whether it will stream the third season yet.

    Nadeshiko, a high school student who had moved from Shizuoka to Yamanashi, decides to see the famous, 1000 yen-bill-featured Mount Fuji. Even though she manages to bike all the way to Motosu, she’s forced to turn back because of worsening weather. Unable to set her eyes on her goal, she faints partway to her destination. When she wakes up, it’s night, in a place she’s never been before, with no way of knowing how to get home. Nadeshiko is saved when she encounters Rin, a girl who is out camping by herself. This outdoorsy girls story begins with this first encounter between Nadeshiko and Rin.
