Square Enix has officially opened pre-orders for the Collector’s Edition of Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail this morning. Dawntrail is the 6th major expansion for Final Fantasy XIV. It was originally revealed at Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival 2023 Las Vegas by director Naoki Yoshida alongside the game’s Xbox Series X|S version.
The Collector’s Edition includes a Dawntrail Special Art Box, an Expertly Crafted Viper Figure, an Adventurer’s Cloth map, The Unending Journey, and the Adventurer’s Pen Case. Take a look at the items and pre-order information below.
Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail Physical and Digital Pre-Order
The Collector’s Edition for PC and Mac users will cost $214.99. PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam users can purchase the Collector’s Edition for $155. Check out the pre-order listings here to lock in your copy. Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail will be available starting on June 28 in early access, with the official release slated for July 2.
In Dawntrail, a new job called Pictomancer is available, which allows you to cast spells in fashion with a paintbrush and color palette. Additionally, two new areas have previously been revealed: Solution Nine and Heritage Found. These areas feature incredible technology and should be a joy to explore with these expansions.
Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail is set to launch on July 2. The expansion will be available across PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. If you choose to pay for early access, you can begin playing on June 28. We’ll be sure to keep you updated as more information is released.
