The Final Fantasy XVI collaboration event will begin on April 2 for Final Fantasy XIV featuring a new crossover storyline called “The Path Infernal.” Players must be at least level 50 and have completed the main scenario quest “The Ultimate Weapon” to start the crossover quest “A Land on Fire” in Ul’dah – Steps of Nald. The quest will be available until May 8 at 7:59 a.m. PDT.

Completing the crossover questline awards players the Metian set, which is Clive Rosfield’s iconic outfit from Final Fantasy XVI. A Torgal mount and Torgal Pup minion will also be available alongside a new Clive Rosfield Triple Triad card and various Orchestrion Rolls featuring music from the Final Fantasy XVI original soundtrack. Players may view the new items at the official collab website.

What’s more, a Final Fantasy XVI collaboration event will be held this summer in Final Fantasy Brave Exvius in Japan. A Clive Rosfield unit will be available in the game for a limited time, and it appears that a battle or summon featuring Ifrit will be available as well.

Final Fantasy XVI was launched on June 22, 2023 for PlayStation 5, and a PC version will be released in 2024. For those still on the fence about buying the game, a free Final Fantasy XVI demo is available to play now.
