During a recent video commemorating MAR10 2024, Nintendo announced that Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD will be available for the Nintendo Switch on June 27. They have also opened pre-orders for the upcoming release at most local and online retailers.
Originally released for the Nintendo 3DS, Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon, or Luigi’s Mansion 2, is the sequel to the GameCube Luigi’s Mansion. Nintendo released a third game, Luigi’s Mansion 3, on Halloween 2019 for the Nintendo Switch. Nintendo originally announced the remastered 3DS game in the Summer of 2023. Alongside revealing the release date for Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD, Nintendo also confirmed that another remaster, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, will be coming to the Switch in May.
Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD Confirmed for June Launch During MAR10 2024 Video
In a recent video released for MAR10 day 2024 (an annual event that celebrates Mario on March 10 specifically), Nintendo confirmed that Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD will would release on June 27 for the Nintendo Switch. Further, pre-orders for the upcoming HD remaster are available now via the Nintendo eShop. Nintendo has officially priced the game at $59.99. Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD will also support four-player local and online multiplayer via the ScareScraper mode.
