Last year, Bushiroad and developer Eighting announced that they were in the process of developing Hunter x Hunter: Nen x Impact. Now, their curiosities have been answered with this latest news.
Hunter X Hunter: Nen X Impact to Showcase Its 2D Gameplay at Evo Japan 2024
Hunter X Hunter: Nen X Impact will be a 2D fighting game instead of a 3D arena fighter. On Bushiroad’s website, the company revealed that the genre of the game is “2D fighting”. Many fans speculated the game was a 3D arena fighter because of the setup of the teaser trailer. Eighting, the developers of DNF Duel and Marvel vs Capcom 3, will be developing this game. Their other titles include the series of Naruto: Clash of Ninja, Bleach: Heat the Soul, and Tatsunoko vs Capcom.
Additionally, Hunter x Hunter: Nen x Impact will be showcased at EVO Japan 2024, with new gameplay footage to come. This event will be happening from April 27 to April 29. Players at EVO Japan 2024 will have the opportunity to try out the game in a trial session. Details are releasing at a later date on the specific time that players can start playing it. We currently do not know what EVO Japan 2024 admission ticket you need to participate in the trial session.
Lastly, the game has been announced to release on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. No other platforms have been announced as of yet, but stay tuned for more information here at Final Weapon.
