Hunter X Hunter: Nen X Impact will be a 2D fighting game instead of a 3D arena fighter. On Bushiroad’s website, the company revealed that the genre of the game is “2D fighting”. Many fans speculated the game was a 3D arena fighter because of the setup of the teaser trailer. Eighting, the developers of DNF Duel and Marvel vs Capcom 3, will be developing this game. Their other titles include the series of Naruto: Clash of Ninja, Bleach: Heat the Soul, and Tatsunoko vs Capcom

Additionally, Hunter x Hunter: Nen x Impact will be showcased at EVO Japan 2024, with new gameplay footage to come. This event will be happening from April 27 to April 29.
