Reputable SEGA and ATLUS insider Midori (@MbKKssTBhz5) reports that Persona 3 Reload. will receive The Answer scenario from Persona 3 FES as new DLC. Multiple DLC packs are being planned, if the rumor holds true.
As a remake of the original Persona 3, Persona 3 Reload includes additional side episodes, quality-of-life changes, a revamped soundtrack, an improved Tartarus labyrinth, and so much more. However, fans were perplexed when ATLUS confirmed that The Answer scenario from Persona 3 FES would not be included in Persona 3 Reload. Midori’s update on the situation is promising, and it also opens the door for completely new content.
Persona 3 Reload The Answer DLC Rumor
On Twitter, Midori discussed that The Answer will be available as DLC for Persona 3 Reload, and more information would come at a later date. She clarifies that multiple DLC packs are planned to release within fiscal year 2025, which runs from April 2024 to March 2025. Moreover, Midori notes that SEGA is following a similar DLC structure to Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio’s Lost Judgment, which received multiple DLC packs leading up to the release of The Kaito Files story expansion. The female protagonist of Persona 3 Portable doesn’t appear to be part of the new DLC, however.
It’s worth noting that Persona series production manager Kazuhisa Wada revealed that ATLUS does not have plans to release a Persona 5 Royal style update or re-release for Persona 3 Reload. Wada assures fans that Persona 3 Reload is a complete experience when it launches on February 2.
In other news, Persona 3 Reload was featured on the February 8 issue of Famitsu. A limited edition version of the new Famitsu issue is available with a new B5-size illustration card. Both version of the issue feature an incredible new illustration of the Persona 3 Reload protagonist and Aigis by character designer Shigenori Soejima. The protagonist is seen on the front cover, while Aigis is seen on the back cover.
