Famitsu announced its February 8, 2024 magazine issue will feature a cover story for SEGA and ATLUS’ Persona 3 Reload. The new issue will release on Thursday, January 25, which is nearly one week ahead of the remake’s launch.
As a remake of the original Persona 3, Persona 3 Reload includes additional side episodes, quality-of-life changes, a revamped soundtrack, an improved Tartarus labyrinth, and so much more. Persona 3 Reload is one of the most anticipated games of the year, and fans in Japan can have one final look into what’s to come with the new Famitsu issue.
Persona 3 Reload Graces the Latest Famitsu Issue
The February 8 Famitsu issue features an incredible new illustration of the Persona 3 Reload protagonist and Aigis by character designer Shigenori Soejima. The protagonist is seen on the front cover, while Aigis is seen on the back cover. Moreover, Amazon Japan will offer limited edition issues with B5-size card featuring the cover illustration for a limited time. This issue will be available one day later on Friday, January 26.

The new Famitsu issue itself contains a 24-page feature about Persona 3 Reload. Readers will gain insight into the game’s development, along with a general overview of the remake’s content and features.
The latest Persona 3 Reload trailer recently featured gameplay and an overview of Tatsumi Port Island, which contains Paulownia Mall, Iwatodai Strip Mall, and Tatsumi Port Island Station. Players may buy items, take on part-time jobs, and improve the protagonist’s abilities and Social Stats at these locations. The protagonist may even meet someone new by spending time there.
More Persona 3 Reload news will come on January 25, which is the date of the next full moon. On January 31, Azumi Takahashi and Lotus Juice will both perform at a Persona 3 Reload mini concert in Japan. Persona 3 Reload collaboration events and merchandise information will be unveiled at the concert.
Lastly, Persona 3 Reload releases February 2, 2024 across PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Windows. Pre-orders for Persona 3 Reload are available right now both physically and digitally.
