Square Enix has announced the Moogle Treasure Trove, a new event that will start in Final Fantasy XIV tomorrow. More information about the upcoming event is available via the game’s official website.
Final Fantasy XIV is the hit MMO-RPG set in the universe of Final Fantasy. Square Enix recently announced that a port of the game will release on the Xbox Series X|S. They also confirmed that a new expansion called Dawntrail will launch in Summer 2024. The beta for the Xbox Series X|S version will begin in February.
Final Fantasy XIV Moogle Treasure Trove Details
Square Enix recently announced a new event coming to Final Fantasy XIV. The event, titled Moogle Treasure Trove, will begin tomorrow and will last until March 11. The game’s official website describes the event as “a special event with no set schedule.” It features “many rewards” such as “brand new items, and other items you may have been after!”

In recent years, demand from collectors and historians has led to a surge of adventurers seeking tomestones, those mysterious relics of the Allagan Empire made to record and keep its secrets. Some small number of the artifacts, unique for the peculiar sort of knowledge contained within, have piqued the interest of the eccentric─in particular, itinerant moogles, who come bearing rare goods of their own to exchange for these “irregular” tomestones.
In order to participate the event, players must simply consult the mogpendium, choose objectives that suit their adventuring style, claim their irregular tomestones, and seek out itinerant moogles while exchanging their irregular tomestones for items!
Lastly, Final Fantasy XIV is available now on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, Mac, and Steam. The game will soon be available on the Xbox Series X|S, with the new version’s beta beginning in February. The new Moogle Treasure Trove event will begin tomorrow.
