Tekken 8 Story Mode – How Many Chapters Are There?

    A fairly brief adventure.

Tekken 8 features a variety of single-player content including a cinematic story mode known as “The Dark Awakens”. This mode is split up into several chapters that can be selected when each is completed. In total, there are 15 chapters in the story of Tekken 8

The Dark Awakens should only take approximately a few hours to complete. That may be quite short, but that’s not where the game’s story content ends. Players can experience each character’s story in the form of “Character Episodes”.

These Character Episodes are quite short, featuring only five fights each. However, it may take a while to complete them all, as there is a Character Episode for each of Tekken 8‘s 32 characters. Additionally, it’s worth noting that The Dark Awakens must be completed to experience Jun and Reina’s Character Episodes, which players are unable to access initially.

If that isn’t somehow enough story content, players can also experience “Arcade Quest”, which is a new game mode that takes players outside of the Tekken universe. Arcade Quest allows players to create a customizable avatar and experience a story that focuses on their journey as a Tekken player. There are various arcades to visit and NPCs to battle with.

Other Single-Player Content in Tekken 8

There is still plenty of other content to experience in Tekken 8 if you are playing solo. “Arcade Battle” is a mode that tasks the player with fighting eight opponents in a row. Obviously, this is a good choice if you want a quick, classic arcade experience.

Additionally, “Super Ghost Battle” is a game mode that can be unlocked through Arcade Quest. Here, players can train an AI ghost to mimic their behavior, which can prove useful for perfecting play styles.

Tekken Ball” is a mini-game that requires players to strike a ball towards their opponent. The only way to deal damage is to hit the opponent with the ball. This mode can also be experienced offline with a friend.

Finally, “Practice”, “VS”, and “Gallery” modes are available. These are pretty self-explanatory, but still provide more to do. There isn’t any shortage of offline content to experience if you want a more casual experience.
