    Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Original Soundtrack Opens Pre-Orders

    Set to release on the four-year anniversary of Final Fantasy VII Remake.

    Pre-orders have officially gone live for the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Original Soundtrack. Like Final Fantasy VII Remake, this soundtrack release will be available through third-party retailers or through Square Enix directly. It’s important to note that this will be an import, so certain parts of the package will be in Japanese only. The soundtrack is set to release on April 10, 2024. This happens to be the four-year anniversary of Final Fantasy VII Remake!

    The Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Original Soundtrack looks to be massive, with a total of seven CDs included with the OST package. With new arrangements and remixes of Remake tracks, we’re very excited to check out this release. A limited ~ Special Edit Version ~ of the soundtrack will also be available. This includes a bonus CD featuring mini-game BGMs and other tracks that didn’t make it to the OST release.  

    The release is described as the following from Square Enix:

    “The original soundtrack for FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH is confirmed for release!
     
    A massive volume of specially selected songs, as well as the theme song “No Promises to Keep (short ver.)”  composed by Nobuo Uematsu, will be included in a seven-disc CD set.”

The version of the Square Enix Store is imported and the same as third-party retailers, so you don’t need to worry about getting an English copy. Renders of the packaging for these releases have yet to be revealed, but we will update you accordingly.

    Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Launches February 29, 2024

    Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is the sequel to the critically acclaimed Final Fantasy VII Remake. It is the second entry in the Remake Project, a collection of three games recreating and reimagining the story and world of Final Fantasy VIIFinal Fantasy VII Remake launched worldwide exclusively for PlayStation 4 on April 10, 2020. Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, an expanded and enhanced version of the PS4 title, was announced for PlayStation 5 in the following year.

    A tremendous amount of information has been confirmed for Rebirth thus far, including confirmation of non-playable Vincent & Cid, a “new episode with Zack,” the file size of the game, and more. Leading up to launch, Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete will return to theaters in both Japan and the USA. A special short film will premiere alongside the movie, featuring new interviews with key FFVII creators. Kitase, Hamaguchi, and Nomura will all appear in this film.

    Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is set to launch exclusively for PlayStation 5 on February 29, 2024. The title will be exclusive to the platform until May 29, 2024. A Standard Edition, Deluxe Edition, and Collector’s Edition are available to pre-order now.
