Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Reveals Yuffie Key Art

New details on everyone's favorite ninja.

Square Enix officially shared new key art and information about Yuffie in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. This key art is a recreation of the original game’s art featuring Yuffie overlooking a vista.

Yuffie was originally made playable in the Final Fantasy VII Remake Episode INTERmission DLC. There, she joined Sonon Kusakabe on a mission to infiltrate Shinra’s headquarters for materia. She’ll join the main party during a visit to Under Junon in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, which is a change from the original game.

Yuffie’s basic attacks are similar to those in INTERmission. She uses her throwing star to slice and strike at enemies quickly, so you’ll be able to rapidly charge ATB. As she actively uses her weapon, Yuffie has the ability to unleash magic-infused “ninjutsu” on enemies.

One of her new abilities is the Doppelgänger ability, which lets Yuffie attack together with a wooden clone. This allows you to exploit enemy weaknesses much quicker and faster than previously. Her unique ability is tossing her throwing star at enemies, so you have a bit of range in fights. When she doesn’t have her throwing star, Yuffie can attack unique enemy weaknesses with ninjutsu spells.
