Bandai Namco revealed more screenshots for Goku (Super) in Dragon Ball Sparking ZERO! Goku may be seen in his Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan form, which is also known as Super Saiyan Blue.
Dragon Ball Sparking ZERO brings a “historic” roster of characters, including newer fan-favorites from Dragon Ball Super. Thanks to Unreal Engine 5, Dragon Ball Sparking ZERO features incredible visuals and effects, in-game weather changes when transforming or charging ki. Following the latest trailer from The Game Awards 2023, Bandai Namco begun to share more regular updates about the game.
Dragon Ball Sparking ZERO Goku (Super) Screenshots
Unsurprisingly, Goku (Super) was the first character confirmed for Dragon Ball Sparking ZERO during its initial reveal. However, the latest screenshots and news from Bandai Namco confirm that character variants will return. For example, Goku (Super) denotes the character’s move-set and transformations associated with Dragon Ball Super, instead of Dragon Ball Z.

Bandai Namco confirms that Dragon Ball Sparking ZERO will have an “overwhelming” number of fighters. In addition, the game has a high number of actions and skills for each character, and the signature Budokai Tenkaichi battle system is improved and refined for faster, more engaging action. More character reveals and details are coming soon in 2024.
Game producer Jun Furutani shared some insight into the game’s development. According to the developer, he observed the Dragon Ball FighterZ eSports scene to identify ways of recreating iconic battles in a similar experience in Dragon Ball Sparking! ZERO.
Dragon Ball fans can expect more updates at Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2024 in January 2024. The event will feature news about Dragon Ball FighterZ, Dragon Ball Card Game, Dragon Ball Legends, and Dragon Ball Z: Dokkan Battle.
Lastly, Dragon Ball: Sparking ZERO is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
