    Falcom Developing New Trails Game, Action RPG & More Alongside Kai no Kiseki

    More Switch games in development, too.

    Falcom is developing multiple new games alongside The Legend of Heroes: Kai no Kiseki -Farewell, O Zemuria-, including an unannounced Trails game, a new action RPG, and so much more. The company revealed many more details in its “Matters Concerning Business Plans and Growth Potential” presentation, which was published by Nikkei

    Falcom recently held its announced shareholders meeting and announced The Legend of Heroes: Kai no Kiseki -Farewell, O Zemuria-, which is the Trails 20th anniversary title. The company is currently discussing the next Ys game as well, but more concrete details about a “Ys XI” were not confirmed. However, Falcom did share how many upcoming games are on the way.

    Falcom Developing New Trails, New Action RPG, Switch Games, and More

    The first of Falcom’s new games is The Legend of Heroes: Kai no Kiseki -Farewell, O Zemuria-, unsurprisingly. Falcom confirms that another Trails game is currently in development alongside an unannounced action RPG and a third untitled game. The company is also working on two Nintendo Switch games: an unannounced game and The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak for Nintendo Switch.

    • Suspended developed of three ports
    • The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak (Switch, February 15, 2024)

    In The Legend of Heroes: Kai no Kiseki -Farewell, O Zemuria-, a certain crisis causes the Grandmaster to make her move. The story that began in Trails in the Sky and continued through Trails from Zero, Trails to Azure, Trails of Cold Steel, Trails into Reverie, and Trails through Daybreak will take a “dramatic turn.” A young Spriggan and forces from across the continent will converge in Ored as humanity’s greatest undertaking begins.
