    Bandai Namco has released a new dev diary for SAND LAND detailing the game’s dungeons and side quests. They still have not yet confirmed the game’s release date.

    Sunrise, Kamikaze Douga, and ANIMA co-produced the new SAND LAND movie with Bandai Namco Entertainment. The movie was initially announced as part of SAND LAND project. Bandai Namco has expanded the project to include toys and the aforementioned action RPG. Additionally, an anime will be available on Disney Plus next Spring.

    The recent developer diary for the upcoming SAND LAND game focuses on the game’s large map. The world includes several dungeons each divided into levels with both small and medium-sized “dungeon ruins.” The massive world makes the vehicles a must for navigation. Additionally, there are several subquests that players can pursue that fully establish the massive world and story of SAND LAND. Check out the full developer diary below for more details:

    The official Steam page describes the game as follows: 

    Dive into a desert world where both humans and demons suffer from an extreme water shortage. Play as and watch the Fiend Prince, Beelzebub, Sheriff Rao and demon Thief set off on an adventure in search of a Legendary Spring hidden in the desert.

    In this action RPG, you become the main character as Beelzebub. Lead your company of heroic misfits and explore the legendary world of SAND LAND developed by the creator of Dragon Ball & Dr. Slump, Akira Toriyama.

    Use your tact and imagination to develop tanks and other vehicles for your adventures utilizing a wide array of part combinations. Build up your base of operations into a thriving city with the help of the people you meet along the way in the vast desert.

    Lastly, SAND LAND is coming soon to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. A release date has still not been announced.
