    Genshin Impact Version 4.2 Special Program Rescheduled to November 3

    HoYoverse announced the Genshin Impact Version 4.2 Special Program livestream has been rescheduled to November 3. The livestream was originally supposed to air on October 27 before an unexpected delay in plans. 

    On October 27, HoYoverse revealed that the Genshin Impact Version 4.2 Special Program livestream was postponed. An exact reason for the delay was not given by the company, but fans quickly discovered that it was likely due to the passing of China’s former premier of state council, Li Keqiang. 

    Genshin Impact Version 4.2 Special Program Schedule

    The Genshin Impact Version 4.2 Special Program will air on November 3 at 08:10 a.m. (UTC-4). This livestreamed event will detail all of the new story content, playable characters, in-game events, and so much more coming in Version 4.2. Once more, fans may tune into the livestream on the official Genshin Impact Twitch channel. One hour later at 9:10 a.m. (UTC-4), the Genshin Impact Version 4.2 Special Program will premiere on the game’s official YouTube channel

    • Central Daylight Time (CDT): 7:10 a.m. CDT / 8:10 a.m. CDT

    Additionally, several redemption promo codes will be released during the livestream with rewards like Primogems and Mora. Promo codes that are distributed during the Special Program will be covered at Final Weapon, so stay tuned. Genshin Impact Special Program promo codes usually expire shortly after the broadcast concludes. In this case, the codes will likely expire on November 3 at 12:00 a.m. (UTC-4). 

    Lastly, Genshin Impact is available now for Android, iOS, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Windows and Epic Games Store. A Nintendo Switch version is currently in development, but a release date has not been announced yet. An anime series by ufotable is coming soon.
