    Sengoku Youko, Kaiju No. 8, and More Anime Coming to Crunchyroll in 2024

    A ton of anime on the way next year.

    During New York Comic Con 2023, Crunchyroll shared a blowout of news regarding anime series coming to the streaming platform in 2024, including Sengoku Youko, Kaiju No. 8, Bye Bye Earth, and much more. 

    Firstly, Bye Bye Earth is a new anime project between Crunchyroll, WOWOW and Sony Pictures Entertainment Japan. The original novel was written and released in December 2020 by Tow Ubukata, the author of Tenchi: The Samurai Astronomer and screenwriter of Ghost in the Shell: Arise. Fans can expect the new series to debut in 2024 on Crunchyroll.

    Crunchyroll Brings Sengoku Youko, Kaiju No.8, and More Anime

    Sengoku Youko 

    The Sengoku Youko anime series will premiere in January 2024 on Crunchyroll alongside its Japanese debut. It will be available to watch in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East and CIS.

    Classroom of the Elite Season 3

    During its industry panel, Crunchyroll also confirmed that Classroom of the Elite Season 3 will be streaming as it airs in Japan in January 2024. A trailer was not revealed, but Crunchyroll released a new key visual:

    Here’s Crunchyroll’s official description of the anime series: 

    Kiyotaka Ayanokoji has just enrolled at Tokyo Koudo Ikusei Senior High School, where it’s said that 100% of students go on to college or find employment. But he ends up in Class 1-D, which is full of all the school’s problem children.

    What’s more, every month, the school awards students points with a cash value of 100,000 yen, and the classes employ a laissez-faire policy in which talking, sleeping, and even sabotage are permitted during class.

    One month later, Ayanokoji, Horikita, and the students of Class D learn the truth of the system in place within their school…

    Kaiju No. 8 

    Crunchyroll confirms that Kaiju No. 8 anime series from Production I.G. will be streaming weekly starting in April 2024. It will be available in English dubs and Japanese dubs with English subtitles.

    Crunchyroll will stream The Foolish Angel Dances with the Devil as it airs in Japan in 2024. The anime will be available to watch in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East and CIS.

    Here’s an overview of the anime: 

    Masatora Akutsu, a demon on a recruitment mission in a human high school, is drafting allies for Hell against the heavenly angels. But when seated beside the captivating Lily Amane, he’s in for a devilishly hilarious celestial surprise!

    The Unwanted Undead Adventurer is also coming to Crunchyroll in 2024 as it airs in Japan. Fans may watch the anime in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East and CIS.

    Here’s an overview of the anime series: 

    Rentt Faina has hunted monsters for the last 10 years. Sadly, he’s not great at his job, stuck hunting slimes and goblins for a few coins each day. His luck turns when he finds an undiscovered path. At the path’s end, he meets his demise in the maw of a legendary dragon. But, he wakes up as an undead bag of bones! He sets out to achieve Existential Evolution and rejoin the land of the living.

    The My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom! movie will be coming to Crunchyroll. A specific release date has not been announced. The movie will be available in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, CIS, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, New Caledonia, Tahiti, and Mauritius.
