The staff for the upcoming Spice and Wolf: merchant meets the wise wolf anime reveals a new key visual depicting Holo, the beloved harvest goddess. The new anime series will be premiering in early 2024, so the key visual provides a sneak peek into the animation.
Spice and Wolf: merchant meets the wise wolf is being animated at studio Passione as a new adaptation of the original light novel series. As previously discussed, Takeo Takahashi will return as the chief director of the series. Another staff member from the original series, Hijiri Sanpei, will return to direct. Moreover, the new anime is being produced by ENISHIYA, and the music will be composed by Kevin Penkin.

This will likely be a scene within the anime series, so fans may look forward to Lawrence and Holo growing closer over time. Spice and Wolf: merchant meets the wise wolf premieres in 2024 in Japan, and it will likely be simulcasted in the west via Crunchyroll. This new series will feature the return of Jun Fukuyama and Ami Koshimizu in their roles as Kraft Lawrence and Holo.
